Pioneer Power Show set to entertain

LE SUEUR, Minn. — The Le Sueur County Pioneer Power Show will feature the National Rumely Products Collector during its run from Aug. 23-25 on the show grounds located six miles east of Le Sueur on County Road 26.

Show hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

The National Rumely group is dedicated to preserving the heritage of the Rumely Company and its other companies — Advance Thresher Co., Aultman-Taylor Co., Gaar-Scott, Northwest Thresher Co., American Able, Olds gas engines and others.

A tractor pull will be held Aug. 24 at 2 p.m. The Antique Stock Class features models from 1959 and older.

Stage entertainment will include the Jim Busta Band, the Flemming Fold, the Prairie Rose Band, the Czech Lites, the Connolly Grls and the Kalisch Family Band.

Demonstrations will include horse-power threshing and well drilling, plowing, corn shredding, silage cutting, a sawmill, gas engines and more.

The 12th annual Antique Tractor and Machinery Consignment Auction will be held Aug. 23 at 10 a.m.

Show admission is $10, which includes a souvenir show button. The button is good for all three days.
